MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR SPRING EVENTS IN PROVINCETOWN

Experience seasonal celebrations in America’s First Destination
Provincetown, Mass. – As the crocuses, daffodils and tulips begin to bloom, Provincetown enters the spring season with its renowned shops, galleries and restaurants opening their doors to the sidewalks to welcome visitors. This time of year, stunning sunsets and leisurely strolls along Commercial Street await those looking to get an early spring start with a full lineup of celebrations and unrivaled hospitality.
Ptown’s award-winning accommodations are available at enticing spring-season rates making a Cape Cod stay that much easier. The travel website Trivago recently named Provincetown the number one destination to stay in 2016.
The March, April and May lineup of events breaks the ice from a New England winter and features unique holiday celebrations, concerts, charitable events and some weekend revelry in one of  America’s Quirkiest Towns, according to Travel and Leisure magazine. The spring warm up also includes a slate of LGBTQ events in the Best Gay Resort Town in America, according to GayCities.com.
Spring is part of a special new focus of making Provincetown, America’s First Destination, more accessible for 365 days a year for all seasons. As preparations ramp up for commemorating where the Pilgrims came ashore in 1620, the stage is being set for liberating and diverse special events for which the town is known.
